Summertime is one of the best times for seniors living in Red Deer. There is never a shortage of events and festivals for those willing to participate in these great celebrations. Here are some very exciting events that are happening in Red Deer this July and August.

Red Deer Ribfest

If you are a fan of great-tasting food then the Red Deer Rib Fest may be for you. Taking place this year from August 16 to 18 at Celebration Plaza, the Red Deer Ribfest is a great excuse to get out, eat some great ribs, and enjoy a memorable afternoon or evening.

Bard on Bower 2019

Bard on Bower returns this year with several exciting shows for those who love the theatre. Taking place throughout July and August, Bard on Bower is offering showings of The Tempest and Macbeth. For those in a rush, Bard on Bower also offers 45-minute condensed versions of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Bard in a Box, and The Comedy of Errors.

CentreFest

Happening on July 27 and July 28, CentreFest is a festival for Street Performers to show off their amazing performances. Performances can include anything from dancing, juggling, and miming, to sword swallowing, comedy, and puppeteers. There is something for everyone to check out taking place at Celebration Plaza.
